Discover card is not accepted as widely as Visa or Mastercard, or for that matter, even American Express. The cash back bonus on a different category each season (quarter) used to be capped at $400 but it just dropped to $300. American Express Blue Cash Credit Card is still the best cash rewards no annual fee card.
